How to Get There Go to top Public Transportation: From Metro Manila, take any of the following: Air Philippines to Laoag International Airport (45 minutes) Buses daily from Laoag-laan (Fariñas, Maria de Leon and Auto Bus) and Cubao (Partas) terminals (8 hours to Laoag). Private Transportation: Step 1. From Manila, take the North Diversion Rd. to the national highway. This will take you through Pampanga, Tarlac, Pangasinan, La Union and Ilocos Sur. Step 2. At Ilocos Norte, head towards the Provincial Capitol in Laoag City. On J.P. Rizal Ave. make a right. Then make a left on Gen. Segundo Ave. (or Bacerra Rd.) the second corner (landmark, Mr. Donut) Step 3. Head down Gen. Segundo Ave. to the National Highway. You will pass the towns of Bacarra, Pasuquin, Burgos and Banqui. Do not enter Pagudpod Bayan (to the left) but continue on the highway going towards Cagayan.
